About Country Treasures
You can find Country Treasures by our notable presence on the corner of George Street and Jellicoe Avenue. There are not many antique shops in Auckland as big as our shop, nor quite like us! This 5,000 square foot showroom offers a wide selection of antiques and collectables from Victorian to retro.
Country Treasures is founded and led by Mike Macdonald. With over 35 years of collecting, Mike has a wealth of knowledge and expertise—resulting in a carefully curated space for avid collectors.
From the beloved Victorian era to the outright unusual, Mike travels around New Zealand to source the absolute best antiques out there. You can typically find him at the shop, personally restoring found pieces, or having a cuppa by the entrance.
There is so much to see and new stock is on the floor on a weekly basis, so you’re never likely to see the shop floor as you did on your previous visit.
